A Safe Space To Hold Your Grief
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.
Psalm 23
We know that grief can feel overwhelming, whether it is fresh or decades old. Green Pastures is a gathering of friends who want to help each other, to listen to each other and make space for each other's grief, so we can recover a sense of hope and peace.
Anyone is welcome to join us, whether your grief is recent or longer-term, whether it's bereavement, illness, job loss or anything else.
We are run by volunteers from the church but welcome people of all faiths and none who are seeking support and can agree with our values:
People experiencing grief do not need "fixing", we are here to listen and support each other.
Conversations shared within Green Pastures stay within the group (safeguarding concerns* not withstanding).
We are a user-led listening and befriending space, and not a substitute for professional therapeutic care.
