Sunday 4th April

God of glory,
by the raising of your Son
you have broken the chains of death and hell:
fill your Church with faith and hope;
for a new day has dawned
and the way to life stands open
in our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Amen.

The telling of the Easter Story: Part II

As we saw in Part I on Maundy Thursday (watch again), Peter is re-telling the final few days of Jesus’ life; from his palm-leaf entry into Jerusalem, through to Jesus’ trial and Peter’s denial.

In Part II, Peter re-tells the twist in the story. From the empty tomb to fish sarnies on a beach, and the penny dropping of what it all means.

Listen and watch both through the voice of Peter, one of his closest followers and friends.
